How to kindly request the best interview feedback

Note
The GDPR gives individuals the âright to be informedâ. You practice it every day by hastily getting rid of yet another âconsent for cookiesâ banner.
â¶ïž But there are also other rights - for access, rectification, deletion - which can be pro-actively exercised. For instance, some people request to download\delete ALL their account info from social networks, travel websites, etc.
â¶ïž But here is another tip:
A while ago I applied for a job and have had four interviews (+ HR call) after which followed an automated rejection email. And further no reply to my kind request for feedback.
I contacted the companyâs data protection office and requested all information they have about me regarding this encounter. After a month I received a zip file with the most comprehensive and useful feedback ever. Split by interviewer\stage, redacted, but with obvious references to the competences and topics discussed. Really top-level diligence on their side despite smth was broken in the hiring process.
â¶ïž This will work with big and small companies as far as you are a resident of the EU. The only downside is that companies with no formal hiring process can send back only your resume.pdf back.
P.S. Try a browser extension âI still donât care about cookiesâ, changes your life for the best.
P.S.S. âRewrite with AIâ button converts a personal anecdote in conversational tone into a lifeless, verbose cookbook article. It also conveniently drops these last two sentences. đ
